So there's always something cool hanging around the shop. We'll periodically give you a peak at what we're up to.
The following is a sweet little '68 Mustang Convertible we're restoring for a good customer. It's been in his family since new, but was definitely showing it's age &"hand-me-down" wear & tear. He didn't want it concours, just a really nice weekend car. Nothing better than cruisin' PCH w/ the top down!
In body & paint with new fenders/valance fitted.
Out of paint. Yes, exploding them back apart so that the repaint is complete. Door jambs, engine bay, inner fenders... it takes more time, but it's the only way to do it. Plus, we can insure the body panel fitment is as good or better than the day this little 'Stang rolled off the assembly line.
Starting to go together now. Here's the newly rebuilt 289 in the restored engine bay.
And here's the final product!
What a great way to enjoy the SoCal sunshine!
